A new game for Android and iOS called Construction Simulator 2014 lets video aficionados try on the job of a construction engineer—as simulated on a phone or tablet screen. In the game, players drive up to 14 different job site vehicles to accomplish tasks from hauling materials to digging up a job site, while maneuvering around obstacles like fences and buildings.

One reviewer called the game, which creator Astragon Games will launch on Nov. 19 and sell for $29.99, “pretty simple” and “just plain fun.”
Dive Insight:
Still, like many video games for phones and tablets, this one isn’t cheap. It requires the purchase of an in-app ($1.29), and players have to pay to upgrade their vehicles.
