A new year is on the horizon, and with it a new set of industry events and conferences. To help construction pros plan ahead, Construction Dive has compiled its annual list of these construction conferences, along with their dates, locations and focus areas.
These conferences will help builders navigate a new and uncertain economic environment and the use of artificial intelligence and other technologies in construction, alongside sustainability initiatives and alternative building materials, such as mass timber or 3D-printed concrete.

The largest roofing and exteriors event in North America, the conference boasts interactive, live demos and a specialized education pathway designed specifically for Spanish-speaking roofing professionals. It will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center concurrently with World of Concrete.
Construction Safety and Health Conference

Hosted by the Associated General Contractors of America, the Construction Safety and Health Conference is an event for safety professionals and consultants with events dedicated to unraveling complex regulations and navigating the use of cutting-edge technology.
The International Surface Event*

This conference for flooring and tile professionals features educational sessions, networking opportunities and speakers. The event will feature over 650 exhibitors in its expo hall, along with 80 specialized education sessions on emerging trends and innovations.
SafetyFocus

Virtual
SafetyFocus, the American Society of Safety Professionals’ second-largest education event, will be conducted entirely online via Zoom in 2026. It offers a chance to step back from day-to-day responsibilities and dive deep into key safety topics to “Level up your safety game.”

The annual convention from the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry will feature discussions about products, services and solutions relevant to the construction of walls and ceilings. New York Build Expo

The largest conference on construction and design in the New York City area will feature more than 550 exhibitors in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Officially supported by New York State, the New York Build Expo is free to attend.
Associated Builders and Contractors Convention

ABC’s national convention in Salt Lake City will feature the Construction Management Competition and National Craft Championship, while also providing industry insight sessions.
Construction Institute & Construction Research Congress Joint Conference

San Antonio, Texas
The Construction Institute & Construction Research Congress Joint Conference, run by the American Society of Civil Engineers, focuses on research in construction. This year’s iteration, hosted by Texas A&M and The University of Texas at San Antonio, will co-locate with the ASCE Architectural Engineering Institute’s AEI | IRD Conference, which focuses on infrastructure construction that can withstand and operate after natural disasters and other hazards, to promote information exchange.
The Associated General Contractors of America Convention

The AGC of America’s annual conference will move this year to Orlando, Florida. It will feature educational panels, award ceremonies and more than 30 educational sessions.
International Mass Timber Conference

The conference, which is celebrating its 10th year in action in Portland, Oregon, boasts the largest gathering of cross-laminated timber professionals in the world. The event focuses on construction and manufacturing, as well as design and development, with over 200 exhibitors.
