Remarcable adds six new integrations, connecting accounting and project management in real time

Remarcable, Inc., the intelligent procurement platform for specialty contractors and suppliers, with AI built into every workflow, today announced six new integrations with leading construction accounting and project management systems: Sage Intacct, Trimble AppXchange, Procore, BuildOps, Workday, and Microsoft Dynamics 365. The new integrations run on real-time, two-way sync, so a single procurement transaction keeps accounting and the project record current at the same time. Remarcable's ecosystem now spans over 35 financial integrations and 150 directly integrated distributors across more than 3,000 branches.

"Our customers run some of the most complex operations in construction. The problem has never been any one system. It's that no single procurement source keeps them all current. Until now.

Construction's financial systems have historically been plagued with data that never quite matches: budgets that don't reflect all the purchased changes, invoices that don't reconcile to purchase orders, and project managers and AP teams working from different versions of the truth.

Project management integrations: the job record updates the moment the PO goes out

With Remarcable Financial Integrations, the two-way sync now extends to the contractor’s project management system. New integrations with Procore and BuildOps bring the job record current the moment a purchase order goes out. Committed costs update in real time, so the job record reflects what's actually happening on the job. 

"Project managers were always working from an information delay," said Vedova. "Now the job record updates when procurement does. There's no waiting."

Accounting integrations: built around the workflows contractors already have

Remarcable connects to the systems contractors already have in place, including the new integrations with Sage Intacct, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and certification on Trimble AppXchange.

And with these new integrations come updated capabilities that carry the complex rules that used to sit between a processed invoice and an accurate ledger entry. Configurable routing for taxes, freight, and discounts gives accounting teams control over how data maps to their systems. And Remarcable Intelligence checks every invoice with a 4-way match against the purchase order, sales order, proof of receipt, and invoice. Discrepancies are flagged before they reach the ledger, which streamlines the audit and gives AP teams data they can depend on without hunting across systems for what doesn't match.

Guarantee Electrical purchases $200 million in materials a year and runs on Trimble Vista. "All of the shipping information, site addresses, the tax rates, all of that information comes right out of Vista into Remarcable," said Tina Helmsing, Vice President of Accounting and Finance at Guarantee Electric. “All of the information is just seamlessly passing through.”

Every cost commitment, every PO, and every supplier relationship in construction originates in procurement. “Our job at Remarcable is to make sure that data reaches every system that depends on it,” said Zhang. “That's what we're building, and this announcement is clear proof of it.”
