American Global was proud to take the stage again last Thursday at the annual P3 Awards banquet, earning their fourth consecutive award as ‘Insurance/Risk Advisor of the Year’ for 2026. Paul Jarvis, Editor of the P3 Bulletin has described what these awards represent, saying, “The P3 Awards provides the high watermark of excellence in the P3 market, and each year rewards the increasingly high standards being set by industry professionals. It is a celebration of innovation and excellence within the P3 industry, where individuals and experts are pushing the envelope on what genuine collaboration and partnership can achieve.”
American Global’s submission highlighted their qualifications for the award, beginning with their proactive approach and deep understanding of client risk, as well as their ability to leverage the insurance markets. They described how American Global focuses on the project first, not the insurance products. Two of the many projects cited by American Global as examples of their exemplary work also earned recognition at the event—the I-4 Ultimate Project (FDOT) was shortlisted by P3 Awards for the “Best Operational Project” honor and the SR400 Express Lanes Project (GDOT) captured the crown for “Best Transportation Project."
American Global also referenced their work on relevant P3 benchmarking initiatives and trend research, as well as notable contributions to the sector, providing leadership, expert commentary and educational content to well-respected industry publications and organizations. These credentials, combined with the firm’s collaborative approach, broad perspective and technical expertise, made American Global a highly qualified candidate.
Francois Wasselin, Head of Infrastructure Solutions for American Global, acknowledged the importance of having clients who “clearly understand that comprehensive risk management is critical—not only for the pursuit of winning these transformative projects, but for ensuring successful project delivery.” He continued, “As a privately held brokerage focused solely on construction, our clients benefit from American Global’s ability to tap into our entire roster of talented resources to confer, confirm, discuss, and develop different strategies and solutions. Every win is truly a team effort.”
The 2026 P3 Awards Gala was held at Gustavino’s in New York City on October 1st. On stage to accept this year’s award for American Global were: Michael Marino, CEO; Francois Wasselin, SVP and Head of Infrastructure Solutions; Caryn Maxfield, SVP, Infrastructure Solutions; Michelle Skala, SVP, Insurance; and Robert “Bobby” Madigan, Account Manager. Together, they represent the depth of expertise, collaboration and client service American Global brings to large, complex projects delivered through a variety of alternative delivery methods, including public-private partnerships.
