Planera, a leading provider of modern, AI-enhanced CPM scheduling software for the construction industry, today announced the appointment of Stephen Archibald as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Archibald will oversee global finance, accounting, investor relations, and strategic operations, helping guide Planera through its next phase of rapid expansion.
Archibald brings more than a decade of experience across corporate finance, SaaS strategy, venture capital, and investment banking. He most recently served as Chief Strategy Officer at enterprise data delivery platform Incorta, which he joined following Incorta’s acquisition of Cream Analytics in 2023. As CEO and Co-Founder of Cream Analytics, Archibald built a context-driven intelligence and benchmarking platform designed to help finance teams automate performance tracking and drive business agility. Earlier in his career, he evaluated and supported high-growth software investments at Sorenson Capital and advised on capital transactions at Citi.
"Stephen’s deep operational background at the intersection of enterprise software, data analytics, and strategic finance makes him an exceptional fit for Planera as we scale," said Nitin Bhandari, CEO and Co-Founder of Planera. "He understands how to build robust, agile financial foundations that drive sustainable growth. More importantly, his experience bridging raw data with strategic decision-making directly aligns with our mission to bring clarity, velocity, and AI-enabled innovation to construction scheduling."
Archibald joins Planera during a period of sustained commercial momentum, driven by widespread adoption among leading general contractors, specialty contractors, and mission-critical builders modernizing their Critical Path Method (CPM) workflows.
"Planera is fundamentally reshaping how the construction industry collaborates, plans, and delivers complex projects," said Stephen Archibald, CFO of Planera. "The team has developed a genuinely transformative product in an essential sector that is rapidly adopting modern digital tools. I look forward to working closely with Nitin and the entire Planera leadership team to scale operations, expand our market footprint, and deliver long-term value for our customers, partners, and shareholders."
