Construction management firm STO Building Group today announced the appointment of Peter Bulgarelli to its Board of Directors.
Bulgarelli is an experienced leader with over four decades in healthcare, real estate, and corporate services.
Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President at Ventas, Inc., a publicly traded healthcare REIT and one of the largest in the nation. There, he served as Executive Vice President, Outpatient Medical & Research, and as President and CEO of its Lillibridge Healthcare Services subsidiary. As a member of the Ventas executive leadership team, he helped oversee a portfolio of 1.450 properties and approximately $60 billion in enterprise volume, spanning the US, UK, and Canada. Prior to Ventas, Bulgarelli spent a 28-year career at JLL, where he built the firm’s healthcare group from the ground up to 1,500 people and led its healthcare, life sciences, higher education, and public sector businesses.
Bulgarelli also brings previous corporate and nonprofit board experience. He has served on the board of Ardent Health and has participated in its Audit, Nominating, Compensation, and Strategic Committees. His other board experience includes healthcare real estate and nonprofit organizations.
“Peter’s longtime experience in real estate management, particularly in healthcare, makes him an excellent addition to our board,” says Jim Donaghy, STO Building Group Executive Chairman. “His insights into the healthcare market further round out the expertise we have in this impressive group of directors, who continue to help inform our strategic direction as an organization.”
Bulgarelli holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois and a graduate management degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
