Catamount announced a planned leadership succession for Catamount Industrial Group, the company’s national industrial construction team. Scott Reynolds, who has led Catamount Industrial Group since its inception, has been named Chief Initiatives Officer, and Stephanie Martinez has been promoted to Senior Vice President, leading the national industrial team. The transition of day-to-day responsibilities will take place through the end of the year.
Catamount Industrial Group is a national team of industrial construction experts who travel with their clients, delivering projects across the country, and building long-term partnerships wherever their clients grow. The move reflects a succession the company has planned deliberately and underscores Catamount’s long-standing commitment to developing leaders from within its employee-owned organization.
Reynolds is one of Catamount’s longest-tenured employee-owners, having joined the company in 1998. For 28 years, he has played a central role in the company’s growth, opening its Atlanta office and later its San Antonio office. As the leader of the industrial team, he grew that segment of the business to over $650MM in annual revenue. In addition to his operational leadership, he sits on Catamount’s Board of Directors, providing strategic insight and guidance, and has been a driving force behind the company’s leadership development efforts. Reynolds holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Science from Auburn University, is a LEED-certified professional, and is an Adjunct Professor in the Building Science program at Auburn University.
In his new role as Chief Initiatives Officer, Reynolds will function as an internal management consultant to the company, driving the strategic, high-impact initiatives that will shape Catamount’s growth in the years ahead.
Martinez joined Catamount in 2012 and has advanced through the organization to lead one of its biggest teams. For more than a decade, she has managed the company’s largest industrial relationships, and championed and opened the company’s Tampa office. Martinez holds a degree in Construction Science and Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
As Senior Vice President, Martinez will lead Catamount Industrial Group, guiding its national team, client partnerships, operational excellence, and continued growth.
