Reflecting on that philosophy, American Global is pleased to welcome Lisa Manzer as Vice President, Claims, based in the broker’s Atlanta office.
Lisa joins an established Claims team built around technical expertise, deep construction knowledge and strong client advocacy. By leveraging new resources, technology and data analytics, American Global provides clients with valuable, proactive support and an enhanced claims experience. With more than 25 years’ experience in claims leadership, TPA governance, litigation management, coverage analysis, reserving, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration with underwriting, actuarial, legal, compliance, and executive leadership teams, Lisa will further broaden the team’s technical capabilities and increase capacity.
In her role at American Global, Lisa will advise clients on complex, high-exposure claims involving catastrophic bodily injury, construction, environmental, transportation, professional liability, and other technically challenging matters. She will also provide strategic guidance on coverage analysis, liability assessment, litigation management, risk transfer, and claim resolution while partnering with clients, carriers, and defense counsel to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Prior to joining American Global, Lisa held senior leadership positions with several leading insurance organizations, including Arch Insurance, Skyward Specialty and AXIS Insurance. Throughout her career, she has managed complex casualty claims and led national claims operations involving high-severity losses, construction, New York Labor Law, environmental, energy, transportation, professional liability, and large self-insured and captive programs. She has built and led high-performing claims organizations, developed technical training programs, implemented operational improvements, and managed complex, high-exposure claims throughout the United States and Canada.
