The program awards five $2,500 scholarships in the categories of ‘Women in Architecture’, ‘Residential Design’, ‘Sustainable Residential Design’, ‘Residential Construction Management’ and ‘Skilled Trades’. Students pursuing studies in interior design, construction, architecture, landscape architecture, architectural engineering and the skilled trades are encouraged to apply. In addition to submitting a brief essay on their design and architecture influences, applicants create a Houzz professional student profile, where they can showcase their portfolio of work and network with more than 3 million active professionals around the world. The 2026 scholarship winners are:
- Women in Architecture: Gwen Fazio, studying architecture and urban planning at University of Michigan
- Residential Design: Syania Brown, studying interior design at The University of Georgia
- Sustainable Residential Design: Victoria Olaleye, studying architecture at Louisiana State University
- Residential Construction Management: Adam Walker, studying construction management at National American University
- Skilled Trades: Cameron Chadwick, studying carpentry at Pine Technical and Community College
