Dusty Robotics, the construction robotics company that bridges the gap between digital design and physical field execution, today announced the launch of its Certified Partner Program. This initiative empowers contractors across the United States to become certified operators of the Dusty FieldPrint Platform, enabling rapid deployment of automated layout technology without requiring Dusty personnel on site.
The Certified Partner Program addresses a critical industry challenge: the increasing demand for adopting cutting edge technology with the logistical constraints of deploying specialized equipment and trained operators to jobsites nationwide. By certifying construction professionals as independent Dusty operators, Dusty has removed barriers to adoption and made multi-trade automated layout accessible to more projects of varying sizes and locations.
The Certified Partner Program also establishes a dedicated track for Virtual Design and Construction (VDC)-focused professional services teams. As automated layout depends entirely on the quality and accuracy of digital models upstream, Dusty is certifying VDC partners who specialize in preparing, coordinating, and validating BIM files for field execution. These partners ensure that design intent is fully translated into field-ready data before the FieldPrinter ever reaches the jobsite. By formalizing this role within the program, Dusty recognizes VDC as an active and accountable discipline in the automated layout workflow.
Certified partners have all received comprehensive training on the complete FieldPrint Platform, including the FieldPrinter 2 robot, the Dusty Portal for multi-trade collaboration, and design software integrations for both Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. All partners have completed multiple projects and demonstrate mastery of the Dusty Platform. Various partners offer additional services such as 3D scanning, file preparation and prefabrication.
"The construction industry has embraced automated layout as a key solution to improve coordination challenges and skilled labor shortages," said Tessa Lau, CEO and co-founder of Dusty Robotics. "Our Certified Partner Program is the next step to make this technology accessible to every project that needs it. By training contractors to operate the FieldPrint Platform independently, we're creating a network of certified professionals who can mobilize quickly and bring the power of automation to jobsites of all sizes."
The program includes a community of practitioners sharing best practices across thousands of projects and reinforces Dusty's mission to transform construction execution through seamless file-to-field workflows. Since pioneering multi-trade automated layout, Dusty has enabled contractors to print more than 300 million square feet of layout across thousands of buildings. The company's FieldPrint Platform has become the standard for ensuring design integrity in mission-critical environments including data centers, healthcare facilities, and advanced manufacturing projects as well as projects of all sizes, from single-family housing to new office space.
"Construction is fundamentally about getting the right information to the right person at the right time," said Josh Lewis, Chief Operations Officer at FrameTec. "As a longtime Dusty customer, we are excited to bring the power of automated layout to jobsites that wouldn’t have otherwise been able to see the benefits we’ve seen on our own projects."
