AUSTIN, TEXAS — The Texas Water Infrastructure Network (TXWIN) thanks the voters of Texas for making a wise and forward-looking choice with the passage of Proposition 4, securing the stable, long-term investment our state needs to protect jobs, support growth, and ensure a resilient water future for every community.

“Texans once again demonstrated their commitment to practical solutions that sustain our economy and quality of life,” said Perry L. Fowler, Executive Director of TXWIN. “By approving Proposition 4, voters chose to invest in the water infrastructure that keeps Texas running—from our homes and schools to our farms, industries, and growing cities. This is a victory for every Texan who values security, opportunity, and responsible stewardship of our most essential resource.”

Proposition 4 provides critical, dependable funding to modernize and expand the state’s water systems, ensuring that the Texas of tomorrow has the resources it needs to thrive. TXWIN remains dedicated to ensuring the successful implementation of this measure and will continue working with public officials, utilities, contractors, and communities to make every dollar count.
