As American Global continues to expand its physical presence on the West Coast, they are excited to welcome Kim Sautter-Ramos to the firm. Kim will serve as Vice President, based out of our Los Angeles area office, where she will work alongside President Christine Philips to build and lead a team of talented industry professionals. Next month, they will celebrate the official grand opening of their offices at The Trillium in Woodland Hills, California.
Kim brings more than 30 years of insurance experience, including over 20 years in the construction sector. She is a proven leader and strong carrier negotiator who is dedicated to providing innovative, client-focused risk management solutions. Throughout her career, Kim has specialized in construction insurance, group captives, and project placements, with a strong reputation for relationship building, strategic growth, and technical expertise.
At American Global, Kim will oversee the California insurance team while cultivating new client relationships and partnerships across carriers and other key industry partners. She will also play a pivotal role in supporting existing clients, developing new business, and representing American Global at local industry events and associations.
Prior to joining American Global, Kim was Vice President of Construction – Practice Lead at IMA Financial Group, where she helped establish and grow a thriving Construction Practice Group. Kim served as both a technical lead and regional expert for developers, contractors, and large-scale projects. Together with her team, they placed and serviced significant construction accounts. Prior to IMA, Kim worked as an Account Executive at large, international brokerage, focused on construction clients.

Kim holds several industry designations including Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS), as well as an OSHA 10 Certification. She is also trained in Process Communication Management (PCM) and is a licensed Property & Casualty Broker.
