In 2024, the DuPont Performance Building Solutions and Corian® Design business achieved a transformative 93% reduction in business Scope 1 and Scope 2 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions relative to a 2019 baseline year, highlighted in their 2025 Sustainability Progress Report announced today. The report highlights progress to date toward the business’s aspiration to advance sustainability in the built environment by partnering with customers and the industry to drive down carbon emissions, increase circularity and use chemistries that are safe and sustainable by design.

Recent sustainability accomplishments highlighted in the report include:
- Achieving reductions in the embodied carbon of Tyvek® HomeWrap®, Froth-Pak™ Foam Insulation and Sealant, and Styrofoam™ Brand XPS insulation
- Launching Great Stuff™ Wide Spray Foam Sealant and Tyvek® Protec™ Peel and Stick Underlayment, both of which increase home weatherization and durability to reduce energy costs
- Publishing an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for the ArmorWall™ system, making it the first MgO insulated sheathing system with an EPD available
- Expanding our EPD portfolio to include Great Stuff Pro™ Insulating Foam Sealants and Tyvek® Building Wrap
- Increasing the amount of scrap received in the Corian® Solid Surface fabricator scrap take back program, receiving 23,000 pounds of waste in 2024 in comparison to the 14,000 pounds received in 2023
- Earning multiple sustainable innovation awards, including a Heroes of Chemistry Award from the American Chemical Society for low-GWP Styrofoam™ Brand XPS Insulation, and an R&D 100 Award and Gold Edison Award for Tyvek® Trifecta™ A2 Fire-Rated Breather Membrane
