American Global is pleased to welcome Anthony Terranova, Esq. to the organization as Head of Claims for North America. This executive addition underscores the continued growth of American Global, reinforcing the broker’s commitment to delivering premier claims support. American Global’s reputation for excellence in claims advocacy has become a differentiator and notable advantage for the firm. 

Leveraging his legal and claims expertise, Anthony will serve as strategic and operational lead of the department. In addition to overseeing and supporting a team of dedicated technical claims advocates, Anthony will also hold responsibility for client satisfaction, managing high-cost and complex construction claims throughout North America. Working cross-functionally with our technology team, Anthony will drive strategy and spearhead initiatives that utilize technology and advanced analytics to optimize claims systems and reporting processes, with a special focus on providing actionable insights to deliver superior claims service for clients.

Anthony brings nearly two decades of experience in legal practice and complex claims management across both the insurance and construction sectors. Before joining American Global, he served as Head of Commercial Casualty Claims – North America at an international insurer/reinsurance firm, where he led claims strategy for Construction and other specialty business units.

Anthony earned his Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Hofstra University. He is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and several federal courts across the Northeast. Anthony also holds casualty adjuster licenses in multiple states and earned recognition as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in the Construction category. He is a frequent speaker at national claims and risk management conferences, where he shares insights on claims strategy, legal trends, and industry innovation.
