EquipmentShare Las Vegas Opens Doors to Provide Innovative Solutions for Area Construction Companies
The equipment and digital solutions location is located at 412 East Gowan Road in Las Vegas.
LAS VEGAS, Nevada — EquipmentShare, an equipment and digital solutions provider serving the construction industry, will open its doors in Las Vegas effective immediately.
EquipmentShare’s Las Vegas location offers next-generation equipment for rent, along with its proprietary smart jobsite technology, which recently earned the company the 2020 Fleet Management Company of the Year award by AutoTech Breakthrough Awards. The Las Vegas site, located at 412 East Gowan Road, began building its operations staff earlier this year and is now open for customers.
“We are very proud to introduce EquipmentShare to the fast-paced, hardworking Vegas market,” EquipmentShare CEO and Co-founder Jabbok Schlacks said. “Our Vegas team has more than 70 years of collective experience in every department: machine service, rental, retail sales and management. Their experience, combined with our new fleet and our technology is going to dramatically improve how our Vegas customers get work done.”
The Las Vegas location’s rental fleet includes general heavy equipment, dirt and heavy dirt equipment, high-reach equipment and specialty infrastructure equipment.
“Our fleet is young, and we have the technology to keep it maintained and in the best shape,” EquipmentShare Las Vegas’s Service Manager DJ Edwards said. “The Vegas market isn’t like other construction markets—there’s no time for downtime. Our technology solutions help our customers avoid that downtime. We work around the clock here, and so does our technology.”
Every EquipmentShare rental machine is outfitted with tracking hardware so rental customers and EquipmentShare’s service department can monitor equipment utilization, GPS location, fuel usage, maintenance history and upcoming service and more. EquipmentShare’s fleet management technology solutions notify service managers and technicians when a machine is approaching or past due on maintenance to keep equipment in optimal running condition and prevent breakdowns, which lead to downtime on the job—a major pain point for the construction industry.
“Our equipment trackers provide us with a ton of data, and that data drives decisions and allows us to take corrective action to help customers save money and prevent downtime,” EquipmentShare’s Chief Data Scientist Tim Green said. “We use our data to create predictive models that anticipate breakdowns before they happen. If an engine overheats, but the coolant temp gauge shows it’s running cool, then no operator can tell they’re about to destroy the engine. Fortunately, because of our tracking technology, we have all of that information; we can analyze it and create a model that helps us prevent that from happening in the future.”
Despite the pandemic, most construction projects in the greater Las Vegas area have continued, including Allegiant Stadium, Circa Resort and Casino, the MSG Sphere at The Venetian and several other billion-dollar resort properties. The greater Las Vegas construction market includes a variety of entertainment and hospitality projects, government projects and alternative energy facility projects.
“With nearly $7 billion worth of construction jobs on the books for the next two to three years, we’re confident EquipmentShare will be on every jobsite in Vegas,” Schlacks said.
Customers may visit the EquipmentShare Las Vegas location Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. To contact a rental representative, customers may call (725) 221-0051.
EquipmentShare Las Vegas is actively hiring for a variety of sales and service positions. Glassdoor recently named EquipmentShare one of the top growing companies in the country, despite the pandemic. To learn more and apply, visit equipmentshare.com/careers.
