MIAMI (August 14, 2018) – FRONTIER Building has broken ground on a brand-new Krispy Kreme Doughnuts located at 530 Northeast 167 Street in Miami. The iconic doughnut shop’s new location is being built from the ground up next door to the existing location at 590 Northeast 167 Street, which will remain open throughout construction.
The experience-focused national general construction, construction management, and design-build contractor will be providing its services to oversee the development of the 3,576 square-foot-project, located on a 24,960 square-foot lot. The new outpost will include a drive-thru and eleven parking spaces.
“I appreciate being able to work with Krispy Kreme on this project,” said Andrew Goggin, director of construction at FRONTIER Building. “This is the first project we’ve done for the national brand and we’re thrilled to provide them with the FRONTIER experience.”
Plans are in place for the older Krispy Kreme store to be replaced by a Wawa gas and convenience store.
The new Krispy Kreme is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2019. This is FRONTIER Building’s first Krispy Kreme project.
