Page Naftel Named President of Ram Tool; Hillery Head to Remain CEO
Birmingham, AL—February 25, 2016— Ram Tool Construction Supply Co. announces that Page Naftel, head of sales for the company, will take on the additional areas of purchasing and operations. With these new responsibilities Naftel has been named President of Ram Tool effective March 1, 2016. Hillery Head will remain CEO of the company, responsible for strategic direction, growth and overall management of Ram Tool.
Hillery Head said, “This is a great day for Ram Tool. Page has earned this new role and we are confident he will bring the same success across the board as he has to our sales team.”
Naftel has served as Vice President of Sales since 2007. Prior to that, he was a branch manager and top outside salesman for the company. He holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. He has been with Ram Tool since 1996.
Naftel stated, “I am honored with this new role, and look forward to supporting our great customers throughout our footprint.”
With over 900 employees, Ram Tool distributes construction tools and supplies in 34 markets from Washington D.C. to Texas. The company has seen steady growth since Mimi Head purchased its single location in Birmingham in 1984. Ram Tool is controlled by second-generation family members Hillery Head and Maye Head Frei, Chairman of the Board.
