Compatriot Capital Inc., a subsidiary of Dallas-based Sammons Enterprises, came online early this year with one goal: To build a portfolio of real estate-operated companies.
The company definitely is looking for successes, not to reinvent the wheel.
“What we’re doing is targeting established operating businesses with seasoned, stable management,” Compatriot President and CEO Paul E. Rowsey said to Globest.com.
Compatriot took a 50 percent position in Village Green, which is based in Farmington Hills, Mich., because it met those criteria, he said.
