Standard & Poor's, the firm that publishes the closely tracked Case-Schiller Index of housing prices in the U.S., has launched a website where its top data experts and others discuss the U.S. housing market and invite feedback and comment.
Housingviews.com categorizes posts in several categories to make it easier for users to focus on areas that most interest them.
The categories are:
- Housing Data
- Economic Data
- S&P/Case-Shiller Indices
- Homebuilders
- Housing Finance & Policy
- Financial Markets
- Construction
- Asia-Pacific Market
The site also has a gallery of graphs and charts for users who want to see the information presented that way.
"'HousingViews' features posts, reports and commentary from analysts across the Standard & Poor’s organization reporting on a wide-range of housing topics such as residential home prices, homebuilding and mortgage financing in the United States," S&P says.
