- Robert G. Card is leaving CH2M Hill, where he is president of the Energy, Water and Facilities Division, to become CEO of SNC-Lavalin in Canada on Oct. 1.
- SNC-Lavalin has been the focus of investigations by the Canadian government into contracting methods, including links to Libya, and its CEO Pierre Duhaime retired in June. Two contracting officers also left.
- Card is a longtime CH2M Hill executive and also served as an under secretary in the U.S. Department of Energy during President George W. Bush's first term. For the just-finished London games, he was COO for the consortium of companies constructing facilities.
