Smith Consulting Architects, a San Diego architectural firm, announced that construction is under way for the 75,000-square-foot expansion of Flower Hill Promenade, located in Del Mar, Calif.
The 14-acre center, originally built in 1977, is one of San Diego's premier shopping and dining destinations, with 42 specialty shops and restaurants.
The $22 million expansion includes a 75,000-square-foot, two-story retail/office building and a 397-car parking structure, along with parking and circulation improvements and new landscaping throughout.
