- Another construction accident, this time on the East Coast, trapped a man working at a construction site in Furlong, Pa., outside Philadelphia for about an hour before firefighters could free him.
- The accident Thursday morning was at a one-story, wood-frame building being erected on Heritage Center Drive in the Bucks County town.
- Firefighters used a crane in the rescue, after which the man was rushed to Temple University Hospital.

It has been a difficult week for construction accidents. One man was killed Monday by a 50-foot fall off a building being built in Seattle, and a second man was injured in an accident at the same site Tuesday. Also Tuesday, two bridge workers died when a lift fell about 90 feet from a bridge being built for Interstate 85 in Montgomery County, Ala.
