- At CDM Smith (CDM bought Smith last year) engineers, Stephen J. Hickox is taking over the CEO job from Richard D. Fox. Fox is retiring in April, but will keep the chairmanship of the Cambridge, Mass., company until then.
- The company also promoted Timothy B. Wall from executive vice president to chief operating officer, effective Oct. 1., succeeding the retiring. John Manning. Manning, retiring Dec. 31, is also president, and there was no word about who will era that hat.
- On the other coast, at Pankow Builders in, Altadena, Calif., President Kim Lum is now also CEO, moving into that responsibility to to replace Richard M. Kunnath, who is still executive chairman.
