- Builders have not reported feeling as confident as they do now since March 2007.
- The NAHB/Wells Fargo index of builders' view of their prospects found that current sales conditions and buyer traffic hit 37 and 29, respectively out of 100, while six-month sales expectations jumped 11 points to 44. The index was up in all regions.
- The index uses ratings of "poor," "fair" and "good" for several categories, and any combined result above 50 means a majority of builders are choosing "good."
