Lafarge Canada, Inc. has raised the walls and roof of an all-concrete duplex home in Edmonton, Alberta, that it will donate to Habitat for Humanity while it keeps the valuable experience it has gained.
Dennis Lattimore, Lafarge vice president- marketing, said his company and its design and construction partners have "captured countless" lessons during the project.
One of those partners, Stantec, said in a statement that lessons learned in the project will make precast concrete "a sustainable option for homes and multiple housing projects in the future."
