The accident happened in daylight Thursday at 8:45 a.m. One worker was taken to a hospital where he was treated and released, and the other told authorities he would get medical help on his own. A study released in April by Associated General Contractors of said 38% of highway contractors reported vehicles crashing into their work zones in the previous year.
