Lori Bork Newcomer, who at age 25 became an associate in Cesar Pelli's firm, moved to Athens, Ga., when her husband was offered a job at the University of Georgia and widened her focus to include houses.
Eventually, they bought land in town. A 28-by-28 storage barn came down and largely was recycled in the construction of a 2,600-square-foot family residence.
