As the use of BIM becomes more widespread and accepted as the way to do projects, the industry will be looking for some way to judge expertise. RICS, which has long been a standard-setting organization, said the past year has brought an increasing number of requests for it to establish a way for the design and construction industries to sort out who knows their stuff with the process.
