Dive Brief:
- A group who organized a forum on construction careers for women during career day for the California State University, Sacramento, College of Engineering and Computer Science had a positive message for female undergraduates.
- At the event held on International Women's Day and during the college's Career Day event, Karen Hansen, a construction management professor, and colleagues said the door is open.
- The forum members also said, however, that they would like to add 15 women next year to the current 20% female representation in the 200-student Department of Construction Management.
