- The general contractor, Babcock & Wilcox Construction Co., and five subcontractors are constructing a power plant in Berlin, N.H.
- The agency cited 31"willful, serious and repeat violations" that included a 100-foot fall hazard because of an unguarded wall opening, workers in two excavations that had no cave-in protection and inadequately braced scaffolding.

OSHA has made no secret of a push to eliminate fall hazards, trying to bring down the numbers for a major cause of workplace fatalities. The citations at the power-plant construction site also included allowing workers to be close to energized lines and equipment panels.
