J.F. White Co., Garver LLC lose executives to illnesses

  • Two large firms lost their top executives to cancer within days of one an other.
  • J.F. White Contracting Co. in Framingham, Mass., president and COO Stephen Barlow passed away on Aug. 19. He also was immediate past president of the Moles, a national group of heavy-construction professionals.
  • In North Little Rock, Ark., design firm Garver LLC lost CEO W. Brock Johnson on Aug. 21. He served as president of the company from 2003 until this year.
