- The General Services Administration has reached into the Pentagon for its new chief of the Public Buildings Service, Dorothy Robyn.
- Robyn has moved over to civilian building and leasing from being deputy undersecretary of defense for installations and environment, where her experience included the Base realignment and Closure (BRAC) process for downsizing the nation's portfolio of military installations.
- Robyn also brings an academic background, including teaching about govenrment-business relationships at the Kennedy School at Harvard and a Ph.D. in public policy.
