AIG Refinances New Student Housing for $56M

Published Jan. 27, 2012

The property, once a 40-year-old apartment complex, has been redeveloped into a luxury dorm for San Diego State University students.

The former 163-unit Collwood Pines Apartments had been vacant.

HFF, which arranged the deal, estimates that demand in the San Diego State area exceeds supply by about 15,000 units.
