• A worker has died in an accident at the work site for Arena Pantanal, a stadium under construction ahead of this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
• Working for Etel Engenharia, the company installing communications networks at the Arena Pantanal, ​32-year-old Muhammad Ali Maciel died after he was unable to be revived following an electric shock.
• Unsure of what went wrong, Etel Engenharia is looking into the accident. The worker was using the proper safety equipment at the time of his death, said Rosenil Moraes, head of emergency services for the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso.
