Unlike the 2015 palette, which included deep jewel tones reminiscent of old masters’ paintings, next year’s array will feature hues like clay, mauve, fig and “fleshy” pinks, the paint manufacturer said.

Clean whites will continue to be a home decorator’s favorite, and designs that feature floral colors and patterns will abound, the report said.

Next year’s red hues will have pink undertones, while oranges will range from tomato to coral shades. Yellows will trend toward green, while the green palette will take on a grayish, neutral hue. And blues will contain hints of purple and aqua.
