- A three-year project to build a 3-million-square-foot distribution center in Henry County, GA, about 15 miles south of Atlanta's airport, will generate about 1,200 construction jobs, backers say.
- MetLife Inc. and Panattoni Development Company from Newport Beach, CA, are the partners for the 183-acre project, called Lambert Farms Distribution Center, to be located off King Mill Road.
- The partners estimate a $110 million cost for the center, which is planned to have 36-foot clear heights and may be done as two LEED-certified buildings.
