America's Preferred Home Warranty (APHW) is hiring for the newly created position of Sales Manager – New Construction, who will be responsible for growing our New Construction Warranty Programs across the United States. The ideal candidate will have experience in, and a keen understanding of, the new construction industry. We are seeking an individual who has experience with local and/or national Builder’s Associations and has a history of success selling to builders.
The ideal candidate will leverage this experience by collaborating with our Area Sales Managers across the United States to grow our new construction warranty program. You will promote APHW’s new construction warranty program through face-to-face contact within the new construction/builder and real estate communities.
In this highly visible role, you will work in a collaborative environment with APHW senior management as well as our territory managers (Area Sales Managers) to develop and advance sales opportunities. You will leverage existing relationships and develop new opportunities to grow our New Construction home warranty program.
Ours is a consultative sales approach focused on building long-term relationships that generate repeat sales and partnership programs. In this role, you will be responsible for all New Construction Warranty sales within the United States, and act as a client advocate.
This position will report to the Vice President – Strategic Accounts and requires heavy overnight travel across the United States (~75%). This position offers a competitive compensation program which includes a lucrative incentive and bonus program, as well as a competitive benefits package.

- 10 years’ experience in the new construction industry
- Experience as a member of a Local and/or National Builder’s Association
- Self-motivated sales professional with strong work ethic, integrity, and values
- Highly effective at building and maintaining relationships and industry networks
- Proven history of success in previous roles
- Outstanding communication and persuasion skills
- Experience as an effective speaker in public settings to small & large groups
