Hudson Valley Construction/Property Management Company is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee projects ranging from $100,000 to $10 Million. The ideal candidate should be able to provide overall management of all assigned projects from pre-construction through final inspection and punch list. Duties include responsibility of the review and implementation of all project documents, including contracts, estimates, plans, drawings, changes and expansions. Oversees all project field personnel assigned to projects, material purchases, deliveries and the coordination and scheduling of equipment, services and sub-contractors. Responsibilities include completing projects on schedule, within budget and with a focus on quality and safety. This position reports to and is fully accountable to the Project Manager.

A successful candidate must have extensive knowledge of the construction industry and the skills of a Journeyman carpenter. Ability to supervise and manage multiple crews and sub-contractors working at multiple locations. Must be able to follow schedules and comply with deadlines. Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Candidates with strong computer skills are preferred.

High School Diploma/GED, or equivalent work experience (5-8 years of management experience with a mid-size general contractor). Must organize and execute work in a clean and safe manner and be familiar with site safety regulations. You should have a NYS valid driver's license, be legal to work in the USA and have OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
