Land Gorilla and Canyon Title Team Up for a March Summit in Colorado
Lenders, builders, and realtors will convene to collaborate and learn the ins and outs of construction lending to improve housing prospects in the state while making a significant profit.
San Luis Obispo, CA
Knowledge of how to successfully navigate the complexities of construction lending is critical for anyone in the industry, especially in Colorado, where low inventory and rapid population growth have led to a housing crisis. After gaining 100,000 new residents in 2016, securing its spot as the second-fastest-growing state in the country for four years in a row, Colorado desperately needs to expand its available housing in 2017. This is why construction loan management company Land Gorilla and title, escrow, and marketing company Canyon Title are joining to present a Construction Lending Summit in Denver on March 7.
The goal of the summit is to bring together thought leaders who can help attendees explore how best to solve the inventory problem and capitalize on the opportunities created by Colorado’s pressing need through industry collaboration.
Lenders, builders, and realtors are encouraged to attend, with keynote addresses from John Covert of MetroStudy (speaking on 2017 homebuilding trends) and Deputy Chief Economist and Vice President Mark Palim of Fannie Mae (speaking on how to sell construction products to the government-sponsored Federal National Mortgage Association).
Also on the schedule: Robert Rosenthal of the Denver-based Canyon Title will discuss legal issues surrounding new residential construction, and Shannon Faries of the San Luis Obispo-based Land Gorilla will explain the mechanics of single-close construction lending, which involves the Realtor, lender, and builder.
The speakers will start at 2 p.m., with presentations running until 4:10, after which there will be a panel discussion. The event finishes with a happy hour from 5 to 6.
Mile High Station is at 2027 Old West Colfax Ave. in Denver. To learn more about the summit, or to sign up to attend, visit https://construction-lending-summit.eventbrite.com or contact [email protected]. The event is free, and the deadline to register is Monday, March 6.
