Snow-plowing for deployed troops' families ready for winter again
- Snowcare for Troops, organized by Boss Products, will operate for a fourth year, clearing snow for the families of deployed troops who hail from areas where the white stuff comes down.
- Boss, which makes The Boss plows, organized landscapers and other companies that run wintertime plowing businesses for the program, which has about 3,750 families signed up to get help from 1,400 volunteers.
- Both families that need help keeping driveways open and truck owners who want to take part can sign up at a website Boss set up called Project Evergreen.
Snowcare for Troops is, of course, great marketing for Boss Products' plows, but they deserve what they get. The program is a great way of taking care of a problem that, like so many, is a cost to families of having their loved one overseas taking care of the rest of us.
